FYI, certain states still allow a license to a 14 year old.?ÿ There are restrictions, of course.?ÿ I took my youngest daughter to the licensing office on her 14th birthday.?ÿ She passed both written and driving tests with no problem.?ÿ Of course, she had been driving for a long time with either my wife or myself at her side.?ÿ My wife is still certified as a driver's education instructor and taught those classes for nearly 20 years.

Obtaining the license was quite important as it allowed her to drive to and from school.?ÿ Her freshman year of high school had started nine days prior to her 14th birthday and volleyball practice had started two weeks before that.?ÿ The afterschool practice usually lasted until about 6:00 P.M.

"Hey, Dad, I'm calling again because I got the battery charger all hooked onto the battery but the cord's only about six feet long and it wont reach from the street to the house.?ÿ What do I do, now?"
