Our prime time is supposed to be about 10:30 p.m.
60 to 80 mph straight line winds plus tornados. Keeps going into Missouri. A thin line from the south edge of Kansas, north to the middle of Nebraska
Edit:
Looked at an updated map. That line starts at the west edge of Oklahoma about straight west of OKC, goes through all of Kansas and Nebraska and the south half of South Dakota
Been watching this all day and worry for my daughter.
6:58 Oklahoma time--Radar show everything will stay north of Lawton
I hope you are OK, Cow!!! Them tornadoes SCARE the CHIT outta me!!! I'll take an earthquake or volcano any day over a tornado. 😐
Dodged a bullet. Not nearly as windy as expected where I'm sitting.
Thank Goodness!! 😇
Have you ever had a tornado there, or seen one???
A local lady found a photo in her backyard last evening that was is darn good condition. It showed what I'm guessing is a young usher assisting a grandmother from the front of the church following a wedding. She put the photo on Facebook. Turns out it was due to the tornado that hit Barnsdall, OK. That's 86 miles as the crow flies or 110 if it hitchhiked on a vehicle.
Maybe Mother Nature was showing us how to transport items better just ride the local tornado. Man that is unbelievable. We found some odd things over the years when we were kids. I got in trouble once for a brand new basketball still in that partial box for being left out in a storm. Well mom saw it in pasture on her way home from work. She came in giving me the what for. Until she went into my room to put it up and saw mine sitting on the bed. lol. It came from a neighbor we eventually found out. The lady had set it on top of the car and I guess as she heard the sirens blowing she rushed inside until the tornado passed nothing was damaged at her place except tops of trees. She lived about a mile maybe as crow flies tornado decided to play a game I reckon. The same as you say you would have never thought it had been in a tornado.
