Not familiar with tropical storms, but guessing they mean rain and wind. So I'm gonna send thoughts for you to find a nice place outta the wind, under a roof, that you can fire up a BBQ, enjoy your favorite beverage, and come out of the storm with no damage

As long as that little "S" in the storm locator icon on the NHC forecast map stays there you will just have a day or so of windy rain. After the storm passes and Mother Nature is satisfied with the cleansing, Kauai will re-emerge to its outrageous beauty once again.
Positive thoughts to you and your brothers. 🙂

Aloha,
Thank you for your good thoughts! Heave rain just getting started. But not that windy! I guess this what we call "calm before storm." Literally!!

Wind speed is projected to be around 35 mph...but we will see.

Aloha!

Thanks Robert!

Looks like we were spared from any severe challenges. Just a lot of water and mud everywhere! I will take this any day compared to other possibilities!

Mahalo everyone for you good thoughts!
