Yesterday I managed to drop past "Penny Lane Records" - the best/only 2nd hand record shop round here.

?ÿ

I found a couple of CD's from my distant past - I still have one of the albums on cassette (but alas no player).

?ÿ

Cooking the meal for the family tonight, I dropped one into the player and turned it up loud(ish)

?ÿ

I was amazed by how fresh and relevant it still seemed.

?ÿ

I'd love to share it around, So for your listening pleasure I give you Shona Laing and "Soviet Snow"

?ÿ

If you like that, look for her album "South" - I find the whole album scarily good

?ÿ

=Jim=

?ÿ

PS: Turn it UP - FF at least!

I have a record player that I use occasionally, some old Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Led Zeppelin etc records. Just something about listening to music that way instead off from your smartphone.?ÿ

Unfortunately most of my CD collection got destroyed in my teenage years in the car. Friends weren't so good about putting them back in the cases.?ÿ
