Today, the family gathered at the home of my youngest daughter whose son turned 1 year old a couple of days ago.?ÿ When I say family, this includes my ex-wife and her current husband.?ÿ Both his father and he have worked with taxidermy for decades.?ÿ He spent the past three days in Springfield, MO attending the event in the link.?ÿ His phone is now full of pictures of some of the wildest mounts imaginable.?ÿ One showed a platypus, for example.?ÿ Another showed a background for the mount as the Earth and areas of outer space on a screen about eight feet wide and six feet high with a bald eagle filling up most of that space.?ÿ I'm not clear on how certain mounts can exist, but, that one was incredible to see.
