I'm gong to reconfigure my home office.
I basically have a nice corner with one wall 9 feet long and the other 8 and-a-half feet long.
I'm thinking of putting the monitor and keyboard with me facing the corner at 45° to both walls.
I should then have lots of counter space with built-in overhead cupboards, file drawers below the counter and plenty of room for the printer/copier/scanner.
Has anyone had any problem (or not) with a monitor in the corner? (Right now I'm getting glare from the window behind me).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Dave, get a laptop with wireless and you can sit anywhere.
RADU
I second RADU's motion. Laptop's are the way to go!
I suggest a docking station for that Note Book Computer with DUAL 24" Monitors, or larger.🙂
I third it. I built a lap desk out of scrap plywood and sit on the sofa. I draft on a 17" hp laptop (when I used to have side business that is) and it is the way to go.
Be sure to post pics of your new office setup.
I have a corner desk down at the office. For a desk it is nice, more leg room. You can really stretch out. It's really two cubical walls with a formica on particle board counter top type desk.

There are various ways to solve glare problems, you'll have to figure out your particular situation in that regard. However, I've had my monitor in a corner at 45° for 18 years, and find the arrangement very efficient.
