It appears there is too much unfair grunting in tennis.

The grunting is not necessary, it is something to psych everyone and cause a distraction.

Since all the grunting has taken over tennis, I watch it for a few minutes and change the channel or turn down the sound and listen to something else.

Personally, I'm for more grunting, screaming and shreaking in women's tennis.;-) It adds another dimensionand takes tennis to another level especially by Sharapova whose grunts have always been part of her game.
The link sounded like sour grapes. She could try wearing ear plugs if it bothers her.

The fakers will stop doinng it once they see that it does not work for them.

Put them on an offensive line of the visiting team during an NFL playoff game.

Afterwards ask them to compare the noise of grunting during a tennis match versus the crowd noise drowning out the snap count.

Then ask them if they are still bothered by the grunting.
