I monitor craigslist frequently for good deals on tools and such and I found this old mower and by golly it has got to be the coolest design I have ever seen.

That is a work of art!!!
Looks like about a '57 model with the fins.
The color is almost exactly the favorite of the owner of an auto body shop a few blocks from me.?ÿ His building and a display model car would match that.
Do the tail lights work? Can't imagine who they would be warning.
Reminds me of the cars that came with fender skirts that had to be removed to get to the tires.
How much??ÿ Buy it and you would be instantly parade worthy.?ÿ I always wanted to be a parade.?ÿ
Lil Scalper? And that Logo.
Oh, for the good old days.

My brother ran for state senate once upon a time.?ÿ I got my fill of parades. It's a lot more fun to watch them than be in them or run along side handing out leaflets.
It's a hometown tradition that every 5 years your HS class has their reunion and rides in the town annual celebration's parade.?ÿ After a few times, the novelty wears off.

I drove one of those cars to high school. A 1956 Bel Aire, 4 door, 265 V8, Powerglide automatic transmission with fender skirts and dual exhaust out the rear. Loved that car!

Once got 8 other people in it while I was on my paper route.
The end of the parade was always my favorite part. Right after the horses, (or elephants if we were lucky), both of which would be at the end. And both of which were obviously in the final stages of colonoscopy prep. It was fun to watch whether the clowns with the shovels or the stray dogs could collect or consume, respectively, the most “discharge”. ????

I saw a video of the mower on YouTube a while Bach. Did you buy it?

?ÿ
No, I did not buy it.
I actually don't recall which Craigslist city page I was in when I saw that but I had no clue they made art deco mowers with tailfins resembling a 59 Cadillac.?ÿ
