Posting this with a Kindle Paperwhite.
Are there any APS for this box? I got it for a low cost e-reader, but want to maximize it's use.

Project Gutenberg is not an app per se but a great resource for a new e-reader owner. You can start building a library of classics for free!
They have over 100,000 downloadable e-books in various formats (including kindle): Sherlock Holmes; Shakespeare; texts on biology, Latin, and fishing; Dickens, etc...
