New Scam? "Notice to Appear in Court"

I got one this morning on an e-mail account that is not registered to BL/SC.

Real courts do not sent out notices via e-mail, at least not without prior interaction.

And besides, "Washington" where?

Quite often, the actual "from" email address on such scams is not Amazon, UPS, FedEx or whoever they pretend to be. Sometimes they fake that, too, but it's an easy thing to check.
