While fooling around with the Solano County (CA) aerial imagery that I just got working in QGIS, I noticed this odd-looking structure sitting on a pad a ways off the flight line at Travis AFB. It looks like a shade-tree mechanic's attempt to build a jet airplane. It's about 80 feet long and appears to be made largely out of steel. Any thoughts on what its purpose might be?
