My baby brother just called - rare thing. He and his family just got back from visiting Mom and his Dad in FL.
More blood work, another CT scan - seems like the pancreatic cancer is back.
That's not 100% confirmed but everyone, including Mom, is pretty sure that what it is.
He says she just sleeps most of the time but does come out to eat at least a little something. He said she isn't claiming or seem to be in any pain or suffering. I reckon that's about the only good thing.
There is much more graphically disturbing info but I choose not to share. I guarantee you would not be able to eat supper afterwards.
She starts on more chemo tomorrow - Thursday - by her choice. At least that sounds like she hasn't, or isn't, giving up just yet.
I'm not sure how to take this one. It's not that I wouldn't be expecting a phone call like this one day.
Her having survived this before (along with lung cancer at the same time) we probably all figured if she's made it this long, she'd be ok for at least some more years. For any who haven't heard me say this before: most with pancreatic cancer survivors don't last for little more than a year. She's been about 3 years cleared thus far.
It was dam rough on all of us last time. It'll probably hit me later and I'll lose it.

It's alway hard when you are dealing with the "Big C". It's so damned sneaky.
I'll add her to our prayer group list. Just hang in there guy and do the best you can.
 Hugs and Prayers.
My Dr. Sis and her Dad have been reviewing living will stuff.
I'm kind of weirded out about this.

I went through it a few weeks ago...it definitely is weird. It brings it all to the surface... :u:
You need this right now, Big E....
