Back in early winter my wife was feeling a bit blue about Christmas. Our daughter had taken a job overseas and couldn't make it home until late January. The younger ones popped up with the idea of Christmas in January. No grumbles at all.
We are winding down from a great day with family. I'm sure the neighbors think we are nuts as we have increased the decorations this week, but that's ok.
We will be celebrating Easter in Saigon this July. Probably pass on the egg hunt though. Life is good if you don't mind being different.
Merry Christmas, Tom
We had our official family Christmas for December 1977 on about this date in January 1978. Hadn't thought about that in a long time.
Christmas season isn't over until Candlemas on Thursday

That's funny, we're traveling to have "Christmas" with my sister & stepfather today.
