I just want to turn ya'll on to this product. The last week or so I've been having problems with my Jawbone Era Bluetooth headset. I'm addicted to hands free cell phone use. The problem was when I'd charge it over night it started giving a delayed on. Then it would turn off and reboot. Things started getting worse. Jawbone doesn't make the Era any more. It was discontinued when I bought it about 2 years ago. I love this Bluetooth. I remembered I had some LPS 1 Greasless Lubricant. It's more than a lubricant. It's a better moisture displacement than WD40. I got the Bluetooth, the LPS, spayed a small shot in the cap. Didn't want to just blast the Bluetooth. Got a tooth pick and dipped in the cap, then dripping some in the off on switch of the Era. Watched it seep in the crack in the off position, and on position. Did this several times while working the off and on switch until I felt enough. Cleaned the Bluetooth body off with alcohol. It's now working like a champ!

I've known about LPS since the early 60's. A buddy of mine and I built radios and LPS was a life saver for cleaning parts. Brings me to this story. About 2 or 3 years ago we had a lot of rain that spring. The first rainless day I drove to a job, pulled out my Subsurface metal detector from the back of the covered truck. I was shocked with fear when a cup or more of water poured out of it. Don't know how that happened? I was dead in the water with out a paddle. Called a few buddied trying to borrow one. Ever body was out working using theirs. Didn't have $600 on hand to buy a new one. I remembered LPS from my early days. Got a can at the ACE hardware. Took the Subsurface apart and sprayed her down. That night I put her back together, and instant on. Been working ever since. LPS is great stuff. Watch the video.

The Subsurface stays in the cab behind the seat with me from then to now on!

I've used ECG RX3200 Electronic Wash in the same way.
One step spray on that is compatible with most plastics.
Take batteries out or unplug from power source for use with most any electronic from motors to mother boards and electrical connections.
Spray on and will disintegrate any buildup and will evaporate immediately leaving no residue.
Caution: highly explosive
