He beat my Eagles in Super Bowl XV.

He was one of my favorite quarterbacks to watch along with Roger Staubach, which is saying a lot from an Eagles fan.

He made it 20 years longer than I would have guessed. As I recall he was a very serious enjoyer of parties. (Did I just invent a new word?)

Len Dawson turned 80 a few weeks back. He's still working and in the public eye.
