Look out next year(s), you big dogs in the SEC.

I do not think I have seen anyone quite like him.

So far as bowl games go, I saw the #1 team in college football win last night.

Monday night game will have to be really amazing to top Johnny Football and the Texas Aggies.

B-)

With the win over Bama and the complete destruction of OU then it sure looks like TAMU would be the best contender to play Notre Dame for the national title. That's not going to happen as the cards have already been cast but for the next several years, TAMU is going to be a team to watch, nationally and in the SEC.

In football the qb can be the wild card in any game. You can game plan 11 on 11 but a mobile qb can destroy the best defensive strategy because of the 'random' factor. Johhny brought that in spades last night when it counted.

It seems that TAMU has adapted very well to the play in the SEC and they had the size and speed to compete. It just took some adjustments as the year went on to find the right combination.

Congrats to a strong outing by the Aggies.

I watched that game for a while. I understand if you are from Texas it's fun but for everyone else it gets kind of boring, oh they got another touchdown.

They need to win the SEC cahmpionship first.
I know they beat Bam at home but they came after a tough Bama win over LSU the week before. a let down game so to speak.

Johnny Manziel is the most exciting player to watch in football , f’sure. I like to see him play. He plays sort of like a Jack Russell on something and thoroughly deserving of the Heisman.
But when A&M lost to LSU at home , Johnny Football had 29yds rushing on 19 carries with 3 int. I geuss the 12thman didn’t show up or Johnny because LSU made him look bad despite LSU's PSS-Poor offense..
I guess OK should have studied that tape but I do understand BIG 12 folk h ve SEC Envy among others.
Anyway, A&M has a shot at the SEC West title next year but Bama/Sabin have a nice set up for a another run at the SEC title also.
Is it that hard to beat OU ,even ND beat them at OK this year.

Colonel Deral..the Compass Bowl

Ole Miss is a 3.5 favorite over Pitt.
It took ND 3OTs and some friendly flags to beat Pitt at home this year.
I would think Pitt would be a big favorite here but I guess there is that SEC bias again
😉
but I know the Big12 and 10 fans will be watching the Biggest Loser or the Bachelor on Jan 7..right?

Alabama plays at A&M in Week 2 next year. Nick Saban will have the entire off season to plan against him. I don't think Manziel will have as much success then. 😉

There was a couple of Texas rushing TDs where I think the Texas player ran just as a matter of form, he could've walked but football players typically run LOL.

I have Ole Miss over Pitt but that one was a tough one for me. Both 6-6 and with some good solid wins and even a few 'could have' won losses. I finally went with Ole Miss just because of the conference.

I didn't diss Bama nor any of the SEC that I can see. I think TAMU is actually more suited to the play in the SEC than they were in the Big 12. You have to admit that there are differences in recruiting, play and strategy.

I bounce back and forth on the ND-Bama game. I guess I will pull for ND just because they would have the untarnished record in a year that they started outside the top 25. Hard to think of them as David versus Goliath but that is where they have been this year.

Have a good 2013

Man,Robert - you're still running that old claim out? Alabama barely beats LSU and LSU barely beats A&M by 5 points and you think that OU needs to be watching game films? You don't think the Alabama coaches figured out that the Aggies lost to LSU because they missed 2 field goals and a PAT (7 points) and somehow the No. 1 coaching staff didn't take A&M seriously - right....

yea ur right..
in a lot of the big games, it seems that the kicking game has a let down and gets the finger pointed at it. somehow, it al balances out in the end, I suppose.

TAMU has an awesome offensive coordinator who greatly contributed to the success of Manziel and the team.

Oh, wait.....HAD an awesome OC.

I forgot he's head coach for TTU now. :-O

David,

If you are going to comment on college football in Texas you need to learn some Differentiation.

Just saying Texas means University of Texas in Austin.
For Texas A&M, the preferred appellations are A&M, TAMU or the Aggies.
For Texas Tech, the preferred appellations are Tech or the Red Raiders.

This is just a beginner list.

Just for your edification.
