Six-time Grammy Award winner David Sanborn heads the list of world-class jazz and blues artists for the 29th annual Jazz in June music festival. The free, three-day event is scheduled for June 21-23.
One of the great saxophonists of the past four decades and inspired by the celebrated Chicago blues artists near his hometown of St. Louis, Sanborn has released 24 albums, including eight gold albums and one platinum album. He is scheduled to headline Jazz in June’s “Jazz in the Park” from 9 to 10:45 p.m. June 23, at Andrews Park, 201 W. Daws St.
