Awwwww....sorry G-Men.
:good:
Good win by Cowboys.
Typical opening by Giants...flat
NFC East is going to be a brutal division.
Nice win for the Cowboys..
but isn't the book is that they fall apart in Dec.
I didn't see the game.
Well while any win is a nice win, neither team looked all that good tonight.
The Cowboys had to overcome penalty after penalty on the game winning drive and was aided by poor defensive play by the Giants due to some of their starters being knocked out of the game.
This is the NFL, which stands for NOT FOR LONG, so who knows what will happen next week much less in December?
Actually, it was rather dull. Most of the time the QB would toss a short pass to some player who would be open enough to catch it but covered enough to maybe get one yard of carry after the catch. There were a handful of exciting plays in the entire game. Cruz couldn't catch the ball when he definitely needed to. Witten decides to hold while his buddy works for a vital first down run. Romo proved once again that if you throw the ball up just right, someone will catch it, even if that someone is wearing the wrong jersey. Manning proved once again that throwing the ball hard to a guy five yards away does not work.
Monday Morning QBing?

Aren't you exaggerating a bit? Romo had one interception and was playing with an offensive line that was assembled from parts unknown and all were playing in a position that they hadn't been practicing in. I didn't think Romo's accuracy was bad either. He may have thrown one up for grabs, but then wasn't Manning's first or second pass of the game way behind the receiver? He also missed an open receiver on the last drive that would've resulted in them scoring sooner and saving time.
Cruz definitely should've caught several (three that I saw) that came right to him.
Parity does make for less exciting games in certain instances, but then again, they are sometimes more interesting because it is close.
Prediction: Both Ryan brothers will be job hunting next season.

I predict that the Cowboys will keep their Ryan, but the Jets will let their's go.
I didn't really mean to direct my prediction at you, Glenn. I'm not smart enough to use this message board correctly.
Anyway, I hope you are right. I'm no fan of Rob's defense though. I'm afraid some painful losses are in store for the 'Boys this year.....again.
How old is Jerry Jones? Isn't he about ready to....you know....?

I didn't think you were directing at me Robby. I just thought I'd throw my two cents in here about the Ryans.
I'm not a hug Rob Ryan fan either. However, I think his defense is a little better than the Michelin Man (Wade Phillips) defense was.
Yeah, you'd think that as much stress as Jerry has gone through in his life he'd be a candidate for a heart attack. I don't care for him myself. He's been the problem from day one.
i9s it just me... but doesn't the cowboys coach and Jerry Jones bear a resembelance.
