Oblate = good:?ÿIn Christian monasticism (especially Catholic, Anglican and Methodist), an oblate is a person who is specifically dedicated to God or to God's service.
Ablate = Not so much:?ÿ:?ÿto remove or destroy especially by cutting, abrading, or evaporating
?ÿ
I've had a heart ablation to fix a small short circuit problem?ÿ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supraventricular_tachycardia
And a few spinal ablations to deaden pain from chronically f-ed up discs?ÿ https://www.spine-health.com/treatment/injections/radiofrequency-ablation-procedure
Both were a walk in the park
the Anglican phrase "oblation and satisfaction" is burned into my memory from childhood.
Think positive man, you've made over the hump.?ÿ ? ?ÿ

everything went well- wait to see now if it w0rked for the SVT.
I was in Sunday night / Monday for another issue-
?ÿbetween the 2 visits- I feel like an alien abduction victim....
?ÿI was released onto the custody of Mrs. File as my responsible adult and she's acting pretty high and mighty about it all?ÿ?ÿ 😉

Had one in 2004 for SVT myself.
Haven't had any issues since and my excruciating headaches left shortly after the ablation.

Put on the sad puppy eyeball look for all the sympathy you can get. That way Mrs. File will take pity on you and you can coerce her into being your personal nursemaid. Back rubs, food delivered to you etc.. Personally I've never had any success with trying this, but if you do let us know how it goes!?ÿ ??ÿ
Yeah, being married to a Nurse Practitioner does have its down side.?ÿ She has no sympathy for "minor" aches and pains.?ÿ You know like broken bones, open wounds, etc. (grin)?ÿ Actually I have it pretty good, she interprets what my doctors tell me.
Ironically I had just asked her this week what an "Ablation" was, a friend had just had one and was feeling much better.
Andy
I had an ablation for SVT a couple years back, everything has been good since then. I've had some minor arrhythmia here and there but nothing like SVT - that s*** was no fun.
My sister also had one several years ago - from what I'm seeing here it's more common than I realized.
I had one (ablation) for atrial fibrillation (afib) in March of 2012, nearly 6 years now and never a regret.

we live on an oblate spheroid...?ÿ but don't let on about it... flat earthers may show up, with hurt feelings. Don't donate to Flat Earthers... ok?
