Far below I saw your response to "Please explain your avatar". Front Range, Southern Colorado describes a rather large area. I was wondering if you were anywhere near Gunnison where my wife has a number of relatives. This led me to look at your profile. Believe it or not, I can tell you exactly what I was doing on your 9th birthday. I was at a birthday party for two school friends. One was born 7-2-53 and the other 7-2-54. They lived about 1/4 mile apart with no houses in-between. The older one had been held back so they were both in the same grade.

Holy,

I'm in Pueblo at the present time. Probably another 6 months on this one. Funny how the world is small in some ways.

I had an aunt and uncle who lived in Pueblo from about 1942 until their deaths in 1963 and 2005. My parents lived there in the winter of 1943-44. Used to visit my four cousins there when I was young. Last trip was about 1968, however. Recall going to the Colorado State Fair there in 1963.

I have always thought of Colorado as being a very nice place to live and would consider doing so when I retire.

It seems to me that Tom Adams surveys in Pueblo as well.

I'm on a bridge project. We, (family and I) like it here. I have lived in CO three times, always love it. Wolf Creek Pass Tunnel, Highway 160; Standley Lake Spillway Improvement (Westminster). Around January I'll have to pack up and go some damn where across the continent, again.
Same as it ever was. Three decades plus.
