Ok, so here I am in Lakeland Fl, on vacation.....we're just driving around with the In-Laws taking in the sights, when we spot some cattle.

My mother-in-law claims that there are more cows (4 legged) in Florida than there are in Texas.....could this be TRUE????

I think she's confused, FL has more of the two legged cows.

Only off by a factor of ten

If you want to know about cows, ask a Cow.

I hope, for your sake, you understand the consequences of proving your mother-in-law wrong. Just nod and agree with her.

There are more cows roaming around on the loose in Florida than in Texas.

We have range cows that don't fare well in public areas.

They will attack.

Lakeland FL Points of Interest

My brother lives in Lakeland in a very private PUD.

Points of interest that he toured us on a visit was Florida Southern College Campus. It was totally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
We walked around for a few hours on a weekend and had complete access. No one said boo and we hardly saw anyone. Very interesting to see Wright's work even his acoustical design for the music recital hall that really works well. Somehow, you can talk on stage and can be heard in the balcony with no problem.
Really nice college that one of his daughters graduated from in art history. She now has a fancy job at a gallery in NYC that deals with masters.

also his use of sun for aesthetic purposes

a very good place that he took us to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner was Earhart's Runway Grill at the local airport. He is a reg there. Thye also have a lil museum with a nice Navy trainer

I don't remember seeing any cows..bovine or human.:-)

that's smart advice right there. even if it does require disrespecting Texas.

We were just in the same area with the Frank Loyd Wright buildings. We are at Carillon Estates, about 1 mile from the airport, and the Earhart is excellent, been there a few times.
