The haste in preparing the description in the field may have contributed to a premature determination of the location of the Main Street right-of-way. Plotting the provided calls creates an odd shape. Perhaps a scrivener's error of a wrong quadrant it to blame or a transposed distance. The descriptions of the adjoiners - Roe and Doe could be at the heart of the dispute.

I have some experience with this project - there is an unrecorded deed which reads easterly by Westerly - or was it westerly by Easterly...
