Since I've been on this board (and the old one), I would say I've definitely gained an unfair advantage - especially when it comes to CAD, technology, etc. I think I mostly learned LSA by reading heated discussions 10 years ago. So I got to wondering, what other life-hacks and/or other tips would those on here like to share? Here is one of mine du-jour:
During the winter months I have a hard time ever really feeling "awake", and subsequently have a hard time getting up in the morning and falling asleep at night. I read about this a while back, and it hung out in my Amazon wish list forever:
I have been using this since Christmas (SWMBO got it for me) in conjuntion with 5000iu of D3 with some fat (its fat soluble) first thing in the morning. These two things are supposed to help keep the circadian rhythm on sync. I have to say the difference has been like night and day (pun intended).

I underestimated the value of good sleep for too long of my life. Staying up late and getting up early is a "badge of honor" in most professions - ours maybe more than most. These days I go to bed as if I'll need 8, and get up whenever - usually after 7.
Another tip: One thing that has saved me hours upon hours is a picture/PDF app on my phone. Most probably already know about this, but if you haven't used it you don't know what you're missing out on.
