Do a little research in this...the devices listen to what you are talking about prior to issuing the wake up command so that it knows the context of what you are asking. This information, along with all of your questions or commands, is stored on the internet. I think you can actually log in and delete the saved data.

Stop and think about that for a minute....it doesn't know when your going to issue the wake up command, so it is listening and uploading your conversations continuously as long as it is turned on.

Don't ever forget, if the product is free, you are the product. The way all of these new "Cyberspace - web 2.0 - cloud - whatever they call it now" companies make money is selling data about users to advertisers and selling ad space. Surfing habits, location, terms searched, email content, etc. all up for sale.
