I completed a 3 point resection in the field and want to further analyze my data with Starnet. I am using SurvCE 4.0, and converting with StarCarlson. The program will not let me convert. The error is "invalid field code". I understand there is an issue with Starnet not being able to recognize the resection format of SurvCE .rw5. There are two routes I can go:
1. Tweak the .rw5 so Starnet recognizes it and it creates a .dat.........or
2. Create a .dat file using the direction "D" measurement with data to each held point?
Let me know your thoughts and if you've experienced this, and any other alternatives.

How about posting the RW5 snippet that shows the resection so we can see what you've got?
