Check out the mini curb installed where sidewalk ramps were installed at the curb. I believe there is a standard plan where a curb is installed between ramps when they are a certain distance apart, but this is too funny.

Ramps are a pain... pain to design pain to build.. I was just out with our crews and had to fill out another TIF (Technically Infeasible).

More often than no, that is how it works out. ADA rules just don't reasonably apply to every situation.
I designed enough frustrations in my time, as there is no give and take in the rules.
