In the past Chrome had been my go-to for a very long time.?ÿ It seems it has went the way all software eventually does:?ÿ bloated and glitchy.?ÿ I've notice several sites don't work correctly on it anymore.?ÿ Clearing cache, etc. does not fix the issue.

I'm completely surprised, but I actually like the current version of Microsoft Edge.?ÿ Seems they totally ripped-off Chrome as far as looks and menu layout etc. so it's nice not really learning something new.?ÿ I've been using it for a couple weeks thinking I would probably end back up in Chrome, but for now it I haven't switch back.

Edge is based on Chrome, i.e. it shares most of the code base.?ÿ Not a rip off, but rather a rebranding.

I have found myself using Chrome lately due to Firefox and IE not playing well on a lot of websites.

?ÿ

I absolutely DETEST Edge.?ÿ It tries to take over many file types and cannot be held at bay or deleted.?ÿ HATE.?ÿ HATE.?ÿ HATE IT.

I have not tried this myself (with Edge vs Chrome) because I use Chrome exclusively but you can't right click on a file (may have to hold shift) and select the program to open that type of file all the time which then sets all other files (or links) of that type to open with the selected product?

I know I've done this in the past with html files and other types of software, just wondering if that would resolve your issue if you haven't tried it already of course.

Edge seems to be SO slow that I'd rather use Chrome which hasn't caused me any issues.

I've used Opera for over 20 years, but switched email to Thunderbird several years ago when Operamail got weird.?ÿ Opera is now Chrome based as well.?ÿ It's just what I'm comfy with, and it's not Microsoft 😉

That worked for a while until Edge decided I was not allowed that privilege any longer.?ÿ It's a devious beast.
