Got a new laptop and made the leap from Carlson 2006 to Carlson 2011. Quite an undertaking for a techniphobe such as myself. I've spent the day getting things in order and playing around with Carlson. So here is the first question of what will probably be many over the next couple of weeks:
In Carlson 2006, I would do a 'spell check' each time before plotting as a final check. I would pull down the 'edit' menu, got to 'text', 'spell check' and then highlight the entire plat. A little dialog box would pop up and display the errors as well as the sentence they were used in.
I've noticed with the 2011 version, there is an ongoing spell check, but is there a way to highlight and check the entire plat all at once like before?
Thanks,
Phillip
Phillip,
I use Carlson 2008, and my spell check is under the file pull down menu, under the drawing utilities menu.
Hope this helps.
That's the ticket, Jimmy. Thanks. This is even better. It zooms to the possible error on the drawing.
Just type "spell" in the command line, the same box opens.
