Hi, I've been a rod and I man for a couple years.?ÿ I came from construction where I set grade for a couple years prior to that, old school with a ruler and an eye level.?ÿ The more I understand what we are doing in the field the more I really enjoy it.?ÿ The math and the challenge of deriving coordinates using different technologies really appeals to me.?ÿ But I am a bit bookish and a history person too, so the law and the procedures also appeal to me.?ÿ?ÿ
I just passed my FS exam and am waiting for the LSIT cert to come through.?ÿ I am hoping to get into remote sensing with drones, as well as good ol' dirt work.
I stumbled upon this site because I was looking for an answer to a Lieca TS16 question, and the answer was here.?ÿ The cool thing was there were three different ways to go about getting the measurement I wanted in the first 10 comments of the thread I was looking at.?ÿ 2 with software, and one old school method. THAT IS USEFUL.
Welcome!!!
And well done and congrats on your test!
Congrats on the LSIT and getting that behind you.?ÿ Fun is just now beginning!
@jitterboogie I just noticed the FNG on my profile . . .?ÿ you guys are funny.
Yes, we are a fun group............but smart, too, collectively, that is.?ÿ Some are a little dumb and some are extraordinary on the brilliance scale, but we average out as smart........maybe very smart.
There is a world's worth of experience available here.?ÿ We enjoy learning new things every day.?ÿ So, welcome to the group.?ÿ Don't be shy.
