I presume that we are talking about the big internet/cell phone outage. I can only say that those of us in the Peoples Republic of Greater Portland were spared any inconvenience.
I've toured the book depository a couple times and it's a neat thing to see. You can't stand right at the Oswald window since they blocked it off with glass and put a mannequin in there, but you can get pretty close. When you see how ideal of a spot it is the other theories like the grassy knoll seem kinda silly, or at least to me it did.
Yesterday, people's real names were appearing instead of their nom-de plumes.
I operate 2 accounts here, one using my real name and another using my alter-ego's. Yesterday I noticed that my real name was up and didn't think anything about it. I also noticed that a lot of names I hadn't seen before were posting, but still didn't clue in.
This was a rather weird problem after a sizeable update to the website (mostly backend stuff). I didn't even notice it myself for a little while.
