I notice my avatar being trimmed into various shapes. I do not like the way it appears in the circle format so am open to suggests on how to adjust it.

Obviously you're using the wrong projection (insert smart-@&$-smiley-deal)

Looks like a survey foot / international foot issue

I'd hack it by creating a square image with a circle inscribed inside, then fit your avatar image inside the circle.?ÿ The image below is what I just uploaded for my avatar as a proof of concept.?ÿ Now I have to figure out how to fix mine back later today. 🙂

Untitled

Edit: You would likely want to erase the circle before uploading, I just left it in my image for clarity of how I positioned everything.

Is there supposed to be an image in that post? I'm not seeing one, and wonder if that's related to my inability to get beyond the "Working" message when trying to post images.

Try this URL to see the image in Stephen's post

rplstoday.com/wp-content/uploads/wpforo/attachments/738/79-Untitled.png

The forum software thinks it's so smart that if I put the http in, it inserts the image instead of just the link I wanted.?ÿ I didn't tell it the link was an image - it looked at the file extension to see what it was.?ÿ Even if I put it in blockquotes.?ÿ I'll try code (preformatted)?ÿ just to see what happens.
