There is no reason to change radio settings from day to day if the settings yesterday were good then there is no reason to change them today.

There is no reason to update daily. We've not had a new update to the release version in months. I agree with Jim that it sounds like they may be on the Testing track. I would NOT recommend this for anyone doing production work. It's very dangerous and with updates available almost daily.

Ok, I have verified that we are not on the testing track. But the crew still states that the unit wants to update about once a week. I think we are on the latest firmware. Although, the base seems to want to update, but appears to have the latest firmware none the less.
The crew continues to complain of poor radio reception even when they are within line of sight with the base. They say sometime it works great, sometimes not at all. They also say that they have been struggling to find a good radio frequency to work on and having to constantly play with the power settings and whether of not to use the external antenna. I'm headed out in the field with them tomorrow to see this first hand, but is anyone else have these radio difficulties with the Javad Triumph-LS
