Hello,
I am trying to output an NTRIP caster from my Trimble R10 GNSS receiver and am having problems getting the PPP Remote Address to update.
I am using no-ip to create a hostname online, and am using this information in the DDNS Client configuration menu of the WebUI interface for Trimble. The only problem is the PPP remote address, which is supposed to be used when connecting to the NTRIP caster wont update to match the IP which my hostname represents.
Has any one had any similar experience with this or have any idea how i might resolve this issue?
TIA,
James
Are you using a SIM card in the R10 head?
If so, does the SIM card have an outside address or a NAT (translated) address that can't be reached from an outside address??ÿ
If this is the case, then yes, I have had lots of similar experiences. The IP address of the head will be an 'inside' address, but the DDNS client will update to the translated 'outside' address which probably won't be able to be configured to forward the port to your inside address (I hope this makes some kind of sense).
The resolution that I use is pushing corrections to an outside server and then connecting rovers to the outside server.
