they need to modernize the look; don't you think?
Yes. I actually do think so. I want it to have rounded corners, padding built in, and a splash of color.
@Scott Bordenet ... Now, mentioning my mamma, she's 90 yrs old. Still drives a stick shift truck. And grows a garden.?ÿ
Now, Mr Moe, it appears you live north of Chicago, and west of Oshkosh.
It's a long trip, (13 hrs, one way) but I'd come by, and show you why I'm a javad fan. If you want.?ÿ
Nate
Oshkosh??ÿ I don't think you are even getting close at Rapid City.
Nate, you're welcome anytime.
I'd even watch you use the Javad.?ÿ
I don't think you can get here in 13 hrs, maybe.?ÿ
?ÿ
Well, that's what Google thinks it'll take. As I look at routes, I'd guess that it would take longer.?ÿ
Besides, driving fast is not good planning.?ÿ
N
Nate, 90 and driving a stick? Props to momma!
What is your process when calc'ing points in the field??ÿ Javad Mobile Tools??ÿ Any other JAVAD users with experience here?
?ÿ
You might end up in an interesting place far from me. From my place to Bentonville is 1200 miles if I remember correctly. SWMBO has some relations there. Or maybe you intend driving 100mph average, you probably can most of the way.
OK, Somehow I got your place as being Redgranite Wis.
Am I wrong? Please correct me, if I am.
Nate
Is this a Nate 4-1 thing?
Not sure where Redgranite is but it's got to be a 12-15 hour drive for me, you might be closer to it than I am.
Is this a Nate 4-1 thing?
Hmmmm. That could be exhaust on a kawasaki concours.
It's a friendly offer.?ÿ
N
It would be awesome to see you demo the Javad, if you want to know how to get here I could send coordinates, I figure the Javad might be able to guide you here. ?????ÿ
I live in SW Arkansas. Use Glenwood AR as a town.
And, I'd want to do the demo in a pretty adverse environment. If you can think of one, somewhere near you. Again, it's a friendly offer. I could use a break sometimes, from my routine. You'd have to tell me where.
Spring has sprung here.
Nate

Nate would love to have you show up here, understand, I'm not in any market for GPS equipment. Not a chance I would buy something.?ÿ
I calculate points in the field all of the time. I use Jfield on a Triumph LS+. One of the things I like the most is I can do Cogo while taking a shot at the same time. Cogo also give me a graphic of where I have calculated the point before it is stored.?ÿ
There are a couple of really cool Cogo functions that I am not sure are in any other data collector (I preface that because I have not used the other data collectors.). We have a relative accuracy calculator built in. I can verify I meet minimum standards for my measurements before I leave the site such as 0.07?? + 50ppm etc.
We also have a factors calculator that will show you the combine/grid to ground factor, elevation factor, grid convergence, magnetic declination of ?ÿone point or a combined number of points. This can be exported and copied and pasted directly on your plat.?ÿ
We also have a built in program to automatically adjusts autonomous base solutions to true state plane based on Cors processing. As well as automatic base/rover post processing through DPOS which is automatic.?ÿ
