I have for sale a used Trimble Spectra TS305. I used it for about a year doing footing and wall layout, but i no longer work in the field. I have absolutely no idea what it is worth, I paid $1,000 for it in a business liquidation sale. I recently modified the battery to accept commodity NiMH and it lasts all day on a charge. If any of you guys could provide some guidance towards getting this thing sold, it'd be much appreciated. I'd rather have somebody making money with it than leave it collecting dust.
I should add, the price is totally negotiable. There's not a lot of info on these units online. If you have an offer in mind, dm me.
can it still use the original batteries?

No, it uses 5 cell hobby NiMH now. The original battery was shot when I got it, and I couldn't find a replacement anywhere on the whole Internet. I even called a place in Canada that specializes in total station batteries and they told me "good luck". I could have recelled it, but the hobby batteries are double the capacity and can be replaced easily.
