Before I post a lot of information I was curious if anyone has interest in purchasing a pretty new Topcon robot and possibly a GPS system as well.
In full disclosure, the robot is new but the other items are about a year old although not used that often. This is a GT-1003 series robot. We purchased it about a year ago, had major issues with it and then Topcon replaced it completely. I have seen others on this board say they love these guns and it is a nice small instrument that is fully robotic. We have had no issues with it since we received the new one. Our only reason for parting with it is that we have been purchasing Leica equipment lately and I would rather have one instrument type moving forward.
The GPS is a HIPER SR that is not used very often.
To follow are hopefully some pictures - not sure if I inserted them correctly. I can follow up with more data if anyone is interested.

I don't mind selling the instrument without the GPS system but I want to sell it as a complete kit otherwise.
So that would include the following:
- The Topcon Robot GT-1003
- Topcon 360 prism?ÿ - ATP1
- The RC5 unit?ÿ
- and a FC-5000 data controller with Magnet Field?ÿ
- not sure how this transfers as far as Magnet field
If that works I can send you a price. If not I would rather just hold onto it rather than sell it in parts.

They already own this exact system, and I know they want to purchase another.
That will be fine, selling a complete system is what I meant. They have no need for GPS.
If Lee's deal work...What are you thinking for the SR only? If the price is right, I may be interested.
Did I miss the asking price? ?ÿ With the hiper sr that is a pretty nice hybrid survey system. What are you asking for it?

Also what are the advantages of the Leica equipment you have been buying? ?ÿ Are there software or hardware functions that perform better?
I haven't seen the price either!
Sorry I have not replied but between things going on for my daughters and billing (working today) I have not had a chance to get back to any of you.

As I have mentioned in other posts we started having some issues with Topcon after using their equipment for quite a while. Others do not seem to have the same issues so maybe we just got a couple of lemons. Also, the replacement Topcon GT-1003 seems to work well and the guys like it. I just would rather have one type of equipment moving forward. They all have quirks.
We have been using some Leica equipment and overall the guys really seem to like it which I was a bit surprised about. Generally they seem to be?ÿ a bit tighter both horizontally and vertically and we see less float in them than with the Topcon equipment.
Do they both have their ups and downs, definitely! I have always been a fan of the Topcon GPS (still am by the way) and the way you can average the points and do weighted distributions on repeated measurements. We use that all the time. But overall the Leica seems to be working well and the guys like using it so that is the direction we are going to be going in.

Well we have the other units up and running and are ready to sell the Gt-1003 and the Hiper SR GPS unit
While I would be willing to split up the GT-1003 from the Hiper GPS unit I want to sell the GT-1003 Robot as a complete kit.

- As i previously mentioned, in full disclosure, the GT-1003 was only used for 2-3 months and was completely replaced by Topcon. The other pieces such as the data collector, the 360 prism and the RC-5 unit are all from about a year ago. That being said none of this was used too much since the original instrument was not working correctly until it was replaced. Shame is its a good gun now but we have moved on.
Please let me know if anyone has interest in the GT-1003 robotic setup or the Hiper SR and I will send you a price.

We had some issues with the original unit and Topcon sent us a new one. The new one is unused?ÿ
