I have a Carlson Explorer 600+ for sale minus the software. It is in real nice condition and very little use. Comes with battery and charger, case, and manual.
Make offer?
Contact me using my email.
thanks
What is the connection for hookup to the desktop?
USB? Serial?
I'd love to have one to program for.
I built a charger for the one I had for a time.
I didn't have to use to special serial port cable therefore.
I got no idea what they are worth anymore.
As the software is the most expensive addition to any computer and yours is a very used unit... I would put it on ebay and pray you get $350 for it.
Mike, he said it was little used.
OK, but as I stated earlier the software is the largest expense... $400 on ebay at best!
Agreed, software is the higher dollar.
But you do still think that cheap?
I can program to it using my emulators but it's not the same.
I can't build a "proper and/or useful" user interface without
having the keyboard and screen in front of me.
My emulator can only go so far on the screen image but can't
do a thing about keyboard usage which we all know is important
to us former Imen especially when encoding alpha characters.
I have no cash but if I did, I easily give $500-$1000 for it.

without the software and what I've heard about this unit... you better get 500 rolls of Charmin with it so can get your rebate one sheet at a time!
It has both USB and serial. It really looks almost brand new. I bought it at a conference when a dealer was going out of business. I just wanted the Carlson Licenses for a robotic instrument. I have since used it maybe 3-4 times. Because of that the battery has not been treated well, but it holds a charge for 1/2 day. It will use 6 AA batts so I bought some rechargeables and a car/office charger for it. Those will not be going with it though, kids lost most of them.
Many companies still use them and I thought it would be a good back up for someone. I was offered $500 for a trade in last year and for some reason kept it?
4 years ago it cost $499.83 to replace an Exploder screen. It had to have a Carlson RMA number before I could ship it to 2Technologies in PA. Payment was to Carlson. Don't ask how I know this.
