Just got this email a few minutes ago.?ÿ I'd heard they had nearly 1000 surveyors registered to attend.

RESCHEDULED DUE TO COVID-19?ÿAPLS-CLSA-NALS Conference Attendees, Exhibitors, & Speakers:?ÿOut of an abundance of caution and in the interest of the health and well-being of all attendees, the APLS-CLSA-NALS Conference Committee has made the difficult decision to reschedule the conference.?ÿWe are working with the Luxor Hotel and our other service providers to determine an available date this fall when the COVID-19 outbreak will likely be over.?ÿThe Conference Committee would like to thank the Luxor Hotel, Alliance Expo, Boulder Creek Golf Course, and Gold Coast Bowling Alley for their flexibility and assistance during this unprecedented situation.?ÿUpon selection of the new date, which we anticipate will occur next week, we will provide additional information.?ÿThe Conference Committee would like to thank the attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and student volunteers for your patience as we work through the logistics of this reschedule.

Received a message today of an engineering meeting I had on my agenda for mid-April that has been put off indefinitely.?ÿ The number attending the meeting would not be the problem.?ÿ The meeting date was set to coincide with other activities on the same campus where 20,000 visitors or more would be expected to be present in addition to the standard population.
