I have had the pleasure of attending a couple of seminars hosted by that chapter. They do everything in a first class manner. Well worth the trip. If you make it, be sure and give both Norm and Dave a hard time for me.

I won't be there, but I second your "bump". I've been at a class with Dave Doyle, not sure where or when, but I know I learned more than I've already forgotten. 🙂

Glad the PDH world is alive and well. I'm one of those that is 100% behind the efforts to keep our brains alive and informed of advancements and changes, and that is just one more resource tool we all should embrace.

Thanks! I'm very much looking forward to Dave Doyle's seminar. Sometimes though, I think that the CEU/PDH classes are a sort of "forced socalizing" because of all of the war stories and camaraderie that we all get out of the experience. Sometimes, we even network. 🙂

Sir, you certainly did hit the donut in the hole with that. There isn't a single seasoned surveyor who does not have those stories. Some like to talk more than others, some don't even care to listen. Still amazing how we can shoot the bull for a couple hours at these events and be just a tad bit closer... AKA - networking. That's a good thing, and yes it does come with a price.

AZ had an initiative that was accepted by APLS after a couple years of getting kicked around, and it was good and simple. Self regulating, 15 hrs/yr and maintain your own records. That is what NV does, as do other states. The AZ BTR shot it down and it was DOA there, even though the entire RLS professional community were in favor of it.

Now these same yahoo's are talking about a mandated degree requirement. I'll be pushing daisies before that ever comes to be.

Norm,

If I only wanted to attend for half a day, would I still need to pay the full fee?
