Nice. I will be keeping a watch on the LASER software for sure. Might be a great tool to have as a sanity check from OTS off the shelf or maybe even placed into production work flow. Having worked with both government self built software vs OTS The pros and cons of production vs quality is always something to consider. I used the old adjust program on private side as check to some adjustments I had done and it took longer with NGs tool but I didnƒ??t use it every day either. Than some OTS software. Thank you for posting.?ÿ

@olemanriver?ÿ

I should have mentioned that the Webinar was recorded and will be posted to the NGS site next week.

I look forward to examining the new LASER tool when it becomes available. As for adjustment tools, I prefer the ƒ??rich, numeric outputƒ? of the NGS ADJUST tool over the graphic-rich output of some commercial packages.?ÿ

The integration of mapping tools into LASER is highly welcome.

@geeoddmike Yes numbers vs graphics. ?ÿ Unfortunately with that statement and reading other post it is that you are probably higher educated probably phd ms degree and or old school bs. When I was at the agency all those who were phdƒ??s ms level geodesy degrees or orbital mechanics always loved the numbers vs the younger bs degree folks. I was thankful to even sit in the same room as some of those at your caliber . I donƒ??t mind admitting that i drove one to drinking as i picked his brain for 3 months straight while on shift with him. He told me one night lets just watch a movie tonight no asking questions. ?ÿHe became a great mentor to me and friend. I could study the rest of my life and never be able to do what he could. ?ÿ

@olemanriver?ÿ

Having worked for and with some pretty impressive folks, I have come to learn my limitations. Of which there are many.?ÿ
