I haven't found complete details and schedule, but there are several mentions of it.

Starting on page 10 (PDF p.13) of this publication is a good article. It mentions an August 13 meeting near the southern end of the treaty line and Aug 20 at Fort Osage.

Is there a registration fee for the Aug 20 event, or just admission price to the fort?
And do we get to meet the revered bovine himself if we attend?

I'd like to go on Aug 20, but my wife's band has an event that day so may not get to.
I'm interested in seeing the historical instruments put to use, and also because this closely resembles a project I've tinkered with, estimating the location of a temporary treaty line in Iowa. It could use an update, now that Google Earth has improved the registration of their images. I doubt anyone will ever undertake a real recovery effort on this line, though.

The notice I received today says they are gathering on the 20th at the Landmark at 107 Osage Street in Sibley. Registration begins at 9:00. The last item on the schedule is labeled "Survey Party" which begins at 4:30. It also says: "The price of admission is your participation."
I am already committed (or should be committed) on the 20th. Sorry.
