You’re at the beach.
Historic Boundaries and Conservation Efforts -
Spent the night in New Bern back in early July 1977. Stopped by for a brief Atlantic experience on the way to Wilmington. Not sure where we did that, but, it would have been further south along the Atlantic coast. Nearly 100F that day. Remember visiting a Civil War ship in Wilmington and looking over the side to see alligators begging for food.

That song just doesn’t sound like one LW’s audiences would approve.

Let’s see. Indiana to Crystal Coast. I would use I64, I77, I40 and maybe US 264. That would go near Farmville and a stop at McDavid Associates. HC likes 40 through TN. Mountains either way.
Thanks for visiting NC and have some Eastern NC pork barbecue while you’re here. It has a vineger-based sauce as opposed to Lexington barbecue which is tomato based.
Oh yeah, eat some fish, too.

Welk’s band played around the midwest in the 1930’s and 40’s. The story is told about a businessman in my hometown who was a regular attendee at his dances and sometimes gave the band a little extra money to keep playing longer than they had contracted.
The businessman went to a TV show filming in California in the 1970’s and Welk warmly greeted him by name.

That was a hoot. Totally bizarre. Do you suppose they ever sang, “Prop me up beside the juke box when I die”?

Nice route. I77 through WV provides graphic evidence of multipath on the car gps.
We were on the Southern coast two weeks ago. Small craft warnings every day, temp in low 80s.
Hope your weather is better.

WOW!. Never thought I would see one of my local firms caps posted here. Was just down there last week surveying the near by port.

I’ve had dinner here, and I believe it’s in his picture.

we’ve been vacationing here since 2014.
I wish I could vacation for 9 years!
I hope everyone has a great day; I know I will! -
@dougie ha! I call it “semi-retirement”. At age 53, with 53 years to go, I’ve gotta pace myself.
