I think you are right Doug.I was just there a few minutes ago, looking around.
I can’t get in either. RIP
yep…
Yepper…She’s Gone.:u:
If Nearly Normal were here…
He’d post something like this…
“Strike it down, that other boughs may flourish
Where that perished sapling used to be;
Thus, at least, its mouldering corpse will nourish
That from which it sprung – Eternity.”the last stanza from “Death” by Emily Bronte
A sad day in the neighborhood…..:-(
Yes… Rest In Peace old friend… For we shall miss you and all of your wonderful stories and colorful characters.
7/8/10
Sure enough, just deleted from my fav list.
I’m sure gonna miss the old place.
It’s not that I posted all that often. (350+/- over 8 years) but I lurked there often and gained much valuable knowledge.
I peeked in on the new RPLS Board a few times, but find the speed (lack of ) to be unbearable. The whole thing seems complicated for a guy with no social networking experience.
Yes, no page there.
Just took it off my Google Chrome tab.
Yep. I just went there to check up on the lively discussion about Starbucks last night and it has apparently gone bye-bye.
Well at least the new RPLS board is bullet fast… Oh wait, no it’s not. No reason to go back. Sad day but… all is well.
I have supposedly fast cable connection and the new board is really slow. If they don’t improve that, they will lose readers/posters fast.
It was there this morning when I opened my browser.
As I clicked on a post a few minutes later it was gone………
Goodbye old friend
Adios Muchacho…….

funny to see the flooring guys having the same P&R discussions, but without the categories. one of the posts talks about the poster with the most posts, can you believe its over 10K?? Hah!! how many “did” we have with that many?
For those missing the old RPLS format
This one seems to be the most active of the bunch:
http://www.i-boards.com/ics/Your friendly, virtual neighborhood WebmasterAccording to MLB the new RPLS site is “at warp speed, engage”.
Odd, but I imagined warp speed would be a lot faster than snails pace.:bad:Like Pin Cushion, said on the “new” board, 6 minutes ago “Slow as He||!!!!!!!!!!
