I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.
I’m just one of those evil GIS people. Bwah-hah-hah! Seriously, I do coordinate systems and transformations at Esri.Paden, my deepest sympathy to you. And all my prayers…
I’m sorry for your loss.
I’m so so very sorry for your loss – I can’t imagine losing either of my boys. I will be praying hard for you guys during this difficult time. Please let us know if there’s anything we the forum can do for you guys. You’re a major contributor here & your stories are always a welcome comedic relief during stressful days
Life is not fair. COVID has proven this so many times. Like your son, I am fully vaccinated and boosted but also a diabetic. Our schools are full of COVID and parents are trying to treat this like nothing more than the flu. No big deal. WRONG!
My grandmother was 70 and I was 10 when my aunt died at age 46 in a drowning accident. We drove her to Pueblo, Colorado and back in an un-air-conditioned car for the funeral in late August. She suffered tremendously, but not from the heat. She was mad at those who might have been able to save her life but took no action. She focused on the thought that she should have passed before any of her three children. Her response to this tragedy left a lasting mark on my heart and mind.
Be strong, Mike.
I can’t even imagine the pain of this. My prayers are with you and your family.
—Dan MacIsaac, PLSWow, truly sad news; it’s hard to type with tears in my eyes; I can’t imagine what you’re going through.
Stay safe my many friends, hug your loved ones every chance you get…
I hope everyone has a great day; I know I will!So very, very sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept our sincerest condolences from us here in Oregon.
Tim
My sympathy for you and your family
My deepest condolences to you and your family.
That has got to be the saddest post you ever made.
As has been stated, we’re here for you. Just ask.
You are definitely in prayers and have plenty of support from anyone here on the board. Completely understand your feelings. Hang in there Paden!
No words, don’t think I can imagine anything worse. I’m deeply sorry for your loss Uncle Paden.
WillyI lost a 4 month old niece a few years ago. I imagine that is only a fraction of what a parent feels. So sorry for your loss.
All the wishes are really appreciated. It helps, and I kinda thought it would.
I had originally promised my wife I wouldn’t say anything here on what she calls “that $%&* surveyor’s board”. Sometimes she thinks my time could be better spent elsewhere. As a loving husband I never mention all her time on FB… 😉
I’m pretty sure most of you all realize my name is not Paden. And 99.5% of you all have never met me face to face. But the kinship and the camaraderie is oh so real. I feel like I know each and every one of you all as a close friend.
It’s probably a good thing my son didn’t have any children to left to grieve. He did leave behind a loving long-time girl friend and she’s devastated along with a world full of friends and other relatives.
I’ll make it through all this. Things apparently just seem to hurt a little more in my old age. Thanks for the well wishes, it really helps a lot. God bless you all.
Very sorry to hear of your loss Paden. Faith, Hope, and Love, but the greatest of these is Love.
My condolences to you and your family
My condolences Paden. We really never know what tomorrow brings.

A very good friend of mine just learned his 3 month-old granddaughter has incurable cancer. I cannot imagine the pain through her remaining days.
You and your family are in my prayers.
