How on Earth can you make a profit surveying a parcel in that mess? ????

Find all the pins right away? (fat chance)
. Yea, that and a whole lotta Divine intervention. ????

Im so glad the real surveyors are here to see what GIS IS EVEN attempting.
This is just side cash and not hardly enough because I need to really focus on my Java programming at the moment.
And this also unfolds my weakness of these bizarre plats. Someday we will all be faced with at least one…

Divining rods. You looking for a well or something? ???? ????
It looks like there was an earth quake, and the cul-de-sac slipped north…
I hope everyone has a great day; I know I will!@dougie
Its not the JDfP but they do uave some subsidence and other substantial faults there for sure
….. ????
I’ll take a funky looking plat with obvious errors over a beautifully drawn work of fiction any day.
NC is plagued by pre 1970 strip lot subdivision plats. Most that I encounter were stamped by an engineer and lack original monumentation. I’m embarrassed at how long it took me to bill by the hour or add a couple thousand dollars to the estimate. When people ask, “Why is it going to cost so much? It’s only an acre.” I respond, “The most difficult survey I’ve ever been involved with concerned one quarter of an acre in a strip lot subdivision similar to yours.”

Im preparing for the answer I would give once I’m licensed and worried about the even bigger picture.
…” Because of the lawyers……”
Thats a strong contender.
