I fully agree. I had a small melanoma removed from my temple a few years ago. Luckily it was Stage 1 and had clear margins (after the full removal not just a sample) and I haven’t had any recurrence. As much as we are in the sun ALL protection is needed.

Like tit deep in a stagnant swamp with AK 47 tracers helping you find your way to the waiting slicks. “Just follow the tracers”.

I can do that for you and I offer financing options. Airfare and lodging will be included in my fee.
Sunscreen is not a viable option here as you sweat far too much and let’s face it when you’re wiping your face & neck with a sweat rag every few minutes it wouldn’t last long. In a drier or cooler climate it would not be a problem OR if you’re just lounging around and not exerting yourself.

And remember, NO WATER BREAKS… Ted would be ashamed for ya…

@beer-legs
you need electrolytes and calories to combat heat illness too. Drinking too much plain water can flush the electrolytes out of your system causing a condition called Rhabdomyolysis. Just guzzling a lot of plain water is not a good idea without food and electrolytes (such as Gatorade). You should still drink water but be aware that is not the only thing you should do.

You could tell all the hot chicks you meet that you got into a fight with a Grizzly bear and it bit part of your ear off! 😉

Donƒ??t care how hot it is, thereƒ??s still worse ways to spend the afternoon.

Plus, this tract has a cool POB and northeast corner: the confluence of three county lines.

Kudos on finding all the corners in the shade… what about the ones in the sun?

Yeah, so I am late to this post by a week. Today, I am in the office going through the data I collected last week. Today it was 61 degrees when I woke up. I think they said that broke a record low for my hometown. It is 83 degrees outside, almost a record. Last week, when I was in the field, 111 on the thermometer (yes, under a shade tree), 107 by the local town official thermometer. The humidity was around 45%, whatever that equals. Yeah, I guess I have some poor timing.
