dark green is what we used to used for sanitary sewer…
-All thoughts my own, except my typos and when I am wrong. -
Always used green and white for CL of sanitary sewer and blue/white stripe for LOD. Contractors always seemed to find it well enough.Â

Yes, green is the standard color for utility marking for sewer as well so it makes sense.

Sell it to your local soils scientist for them to mark wetlands….

I also have plenty of flo green to use for that. For the record, in my current position I’m not rolling through gobs of supplies of any kind.

Want to see the Hawaiian skirt unveiling. That is a wonderful suggestion. Support your local children’s dance training center.

Just start using it now for your boundary and construction. In a few months time, when fall comes around, the leaves change color, and someone needs to recover the points, it will stand out just fine.Â

@rj-schneider if a client calls you to say they can’t find where you marked the PC then tell them to wait until winter them they’ll see it.

Doesn’t Oregon have a large green community?  They would probably love seeing green flagging instead of the environmentally offensive colors in use by surveyors.  Is it biodegradable.  That would be a bonus and unlike pink and blue the color green is non-binary making it the perfect color for the average Oregonian. I’d be worried they might try rolling and smoking it…

I use to add that stuff to every FILL stake especially the slope stakes and slope stake offsets. Fill green like money. Â The. Red in cuts. Â Contractors loved color coded stakes on a site. That dark green does show up with soil dirt backdrop so it has some use. Â Maybe use it on those small staking jobs where footer nails or anchor bolts. Â Sites where once inside a area one is only walking around so the hot pink is not so much needed. Â But a nice net of concealed are is nice too. Â You can also use it as a first aid kit materials. I know it has saved me a few times. You can send me some i mark the areas my fence needs attention. Â

I always used green for staking sewer lines and laterals, blue for watermains and services/curb stops, yellow for gas mains and tails and pretty much tried to keep with utility mark out colors.
