That is a cool endeavor. reading about the UK OS drafters somewhere, and for a laugh they would sneak their signatures into the map in very small print.

I highly recommend this book. Good stuff…

@rj-schneider Sneaking their signatures into the map. I neither confirm nor deny similar past indiscretions.

Wow. Someone in that circumstance could always monitor the Interpol database for a red notice or warrant. ????

I am very happy to have stopped drinking alcohol what must be now four months ago, and have no desire to restart, and am careful what I think about (on the rare occasions when I think about have a drink, the negatives 100% outweigh the positives) but seeing that Guinness made me think for a second – hot day, end of a dusty survey, ice cold Guinness. So I looked online and I see last year they made a zero alcohol brew:
Surveyors’ 0.0 datum.

@richard-imrie Roger this, brother. This is good news! I loved Guinness, too. It has been since April, 2013 for me. I just say that I am ??taking a break.? I am grateful that it has been relatively easy for me.

It’s still got some alcohol in it, that’s why they say 0.0% rather than zero. You would need to drink about 20 of them though to get the same amount as one normal.
