Natester, try Surveypdu.com. They are approved for Arkansas and many other states…
Ronald W. Berrysurveypdu.com
Their fees a reasonable… especially compared with some others out there.
THANKS!!!
I just ordered one from Surveypdu.com
I called him 1st, and he seems like a good source.
Nate
An engineer friend of mine recommended this site.
http://www.stagnitomedia.com/cedu/
I haven’t spent much time on it, but there are a a lot of freebies for 1 hour “classes”. And of course there’s Red Vector. http://www.redvector.com/Cheers,
JBThere are two subscription offers for The Lucas Letter
1. Get the newsletter monthly for $19.95 a year
2. Get the newsletter, a test afterwords that you email back to Jeff (well, probably one of his minions) for $125.00 a year and – if he’s approved by your state – you get 1.5 credits a month. 18 CEU credits a year for $125 look like a bargain to me.
I have also used surveypdu.com for some courses.

She’s an excellent instructor with online classes and you’ll be supporting one of the forum’s advertisers.

I’d love to do the cad girl thing…. I will do that anyway… need to learn more about carlson/acad etc.
NDoes he have a phone number? I couldn’t find it on his site.
Your friendly, virtual neighborhood WebmasterI have used McKissock, GIS CEU, & PDH CEU. You can also get a bunch by taking online classes at NMSU, at Wyoming State and at Metropolitan State out of Denver. A three hour credit course is usually worth 45 hours after completion.
Another source of ceu’s is Auburn University.
Free PDH Hours
ESRI has a number of free courses available online.
If you are in a state which requires CEU’s, but does not pre-approve them (I am), you might want to check this out. Two years ago I got all of my CEU’s from ESRI at no charge.
Nate,
If you were licensed before 1991, you might be exempt. Look closely at your renewal form.:-)
Nate,
How many PDH’s do you need? When do you need them?
DDSMOrganize you’re own PDH course
Nate, how about organizing a Fish Fry / Bar-B-Que / PDH seminar and be the presenter. You get 8 hours for a 4 hour presentation. It could be entertaining and cost neutral. A good suggested subject could be Ripan Boundaries. Reserve a group shelter near the river and put on your own road show. DDSM and I would probably both attend.
Organize you’re own PDH course
Heck, I’ll come just for the food….:-)
Ronald W. BerryOrganize you’re own PDH course
I’ll be there! I expect it to be BYOCC? (Bring Your Own Camp Chair)
Suggested topic: “How to plumb a 120 foot range pole.”

Organize you’re own PDH course
LOL! I’d make that road trip!

Danged Hillbillies…
… when and where, but I want a stump to set on.My partner and I have tried several different suppliers.
A surveyor about 50 miles across the river did a weekend IL standards seminar
at his house.pdu online My partner got into an audit with this China man. Our board
found he was stealing courses and taking the money for doing nothing.
My partner lost his credits because they didn’t have the answer sheet, of
course.red vector I took a course on-line. They failed me; I know I got the right answers.
What a ripoff!!mckissock My partner couldn’t get past the secretary to ask a question.
surveypdu I took Missouri standards by mail. I guess the guy is a surveyor but I
couldn’t ever find him. I did get my 2-hour certificate.survey
workshop My board doesn’t like videos.gisceu Low-priced. The guy picking up the phone is a land surveyor.
webinars Looks interesting but I do not know if my board will accept them.
ESRI My competitor took this; got audited randomly. The board asked for
financial proof of the seminar (receipt); he couldn’t produce.
He lost the credit.
