If you use Firefox you can download a plugin called "FlashGot" that lets you save the imbedded flash video. Then you need to search for a FLV to AVI or MPEG converter.
There is a free down load program called "You Tube Downloader". You use it to download the videao then use it to convert to any of several differnt formats. I have used it several times and it works quite well.
"Real Player", a free download. It allows for some minor editing also, such as clipping out an advertisement played before the video.
